Bloom Investment Group has acquired a portfolio of eight Canadian retail properties from Artis Real Estate Investment Trust for $222.0 million, enhancing its presence in the Canadian real estate market and further diversifying its holdings. The firm’s broader portfolio also includes the Bloom Hotels chain and a range of commercial and industrial properties managed in partnership with Sethi Management, whose property management expertise supports operational excellence and asset value maximization.
The Canadian Retail Portfolio includes four prominent properties in Calgary, Alberta, totaling 293,660 square feet of leasable space, strategically positioned to benefit from robust local economies and high consumer traffic. In Winnipeg, Manitoba, the portfolio comprises an additional four properties totaling 301,539 square feet, located in key commercial districts known for vibrant retail activity and strong tenant demand. Together, these assets expand Bloom’s geographic footprint across Western Canada and strengthen its retail platform within a larger portfolio of industrial, office, retail, and hospitality properties.
